And I’m also pleased to announce fellow nominee and author, Chef Suman Roy, is nominated in the “English Canadian Culinary Culture” category. His book “From Pemmican to Poutine” is #10 on the list right now.

    Hello Carla!
I’m the owner of The Village Bookshop in beautiful Bayfield, ON. Your friend Judith Bean dropped in this morning and told me about your cookbook. It looks absolutely gorgeous–congratulations! I’m wondering if you’d be interested in coming to Bayfield this summer for an author event. I can be fairly flexible with dates. Looking forward to hearing from you soon! All the best, Mary Brown, The Village Bookshop, Bayfield ON, 519-565-5600
